Through your participation in the Aboriginal JFR program you will have the opportunity to:
- Explore your cultural values and traditions
- Take part in a five day cultural awareness camp
- Learn more about medicine harvesting
- Experience traditional hunting methods
- Increase your ceremonial awareness
- Learn more about the important role of elders
Aboriginal JFR crews will be located out of the following communities for the 2005 season:
- Lac La Biche Métis
- Fort Vermilion Métis
- Whitefish Lake First Nation #128
- Grande Cache
- Piikani Nation
- Peavine Métis Settlement
- Tallcree First Nation
- Bigstone Cree Nation
