Kiska/Willson Forest Land Use Zone

The Kiska/Willson FLUZ was established in October 2002 and covers 1,023 km². This FLUZ provides a large network of trails for non-motorized and equestrian use, OHV trails with seasonal access have also been designated.

On designated trails only OHVs with a max. weight of 590 kg (1,300 lbs), max. tire pressure of 110 kPa (16psi), a max. Wheel base of 185 cm and a max. width of 178 cm are permitted.

On-highway motorcycles are permitted.

North Ram Trail open from July 1 to Aug 15 (inclusive)

Equestrian Horse grazing or tethering must be at least 100 metres from a lakeshore.

Helicopters are not permitted to land on a lake or within 200 metres of the lakeshore.


No Motor Boats

Motorized boats permitted on the North Saskatchewan River and Abraham Lake.
