Dormer/Sheep Forest Land Use Zone

The Dormer/Sheep FLUZ was established in October 2002 and covers 108 km². The FLUZ provides year-round access for non-motorized and equestrian use. Access for OHVs is permitted on designated trails.

On designated trails only.

OHVs with a max. weight of 590 kg (1,300 lbs), max. tire pressure of 110 kPa (16psi), a max. wheel base of 185 cm and a max. width of 178 cm are permitted.

On-highway motorcycles are permitted.


Equestrian

Horse grazing or tethering must be at least 100 metres from a lakeshore.

Hiking  

 

Helicopters are not permitted to land on a lake or within 200 metres of the lakeshore.
