Oil and Gas/Mineral Exploration
The
search for oil and gas starts with exploration using geophysical (seismic)
exploration for conventional oil and gas. Once the sub-surface resources
have been identified, approvals are granted for surface rights to industrial
users.
Surface rights granted includes Mineral Surface Leases [MSL], Licenses of Occupation [LOC], Pipeline Agreements [PLA], Pipeline Installation Leases [PIL], Powerline Easements [EZE], Vegetation Control Easements [VCE], and Rural Electrification Easements [REA].
