Land Survey Products
Several non-digital Land Survey related products are available. These products are distributed by the Director of Surveys office and also by the Data Distribution Unit of Resource Information Mangement Branch. Products include elevation diagrams and wellsite control traverse plans.

Historical and Current Township Plans: Digital and
hard copy reproductions from microfiche are available for all early
editions of township plans. These are distributed through Alberta Registries SPIN website.
Price: $2.00 per digital township plus GST / $3.00
per hard copy township plus GST

Field Notes: Digital image reproductions from microfiche
are available for most "original" surveyors' field notes
for the Alberta Township Survey. These are distributed through Alberta
Government Services Spatial Information System - SPIN.

Elevation Diagrams: A limited provincial coverage of Alberta Township System (ATS) township elevation diagrams are available. All 225 plans have been scanned and are available in digital Group 4 TIFF format (Tag Image Format) as a complete set on CD-ROM. Included with the CD-ROM is a descriptive readme file and a file listing the contents of the CD. Both of these files are available below.
These are distributed by the Data Distribution Unit of Resource Information Mangement Branch.
Price: $50.00 per CD-ROM plus GST.
Wellsite Control Traverse Plans: Digital Wellsite Control Traverse Plans, as Group 4 TIFF (Tag Image Format) files, are available only in areas of unsurveyed territory. These plans detail bearings, distances and monuments.
Price: $100.00 plus GST - three (3) CD-ROM set or one (1) DVD-R.
