LiDAR Workshop
The first Government of Alberta workshop on LiDAR was held on July 16th and 17th in Edmonton at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Sustainable Resource Development (SRD) invited researchers, users and providers of imagery from across Canada to share their experiences and expertise with LiDAR. Their talks were made to an audience of approximately 100 participants representing Alberta Government Departments and associated government agencies, Government of Canada, Universities of Calgary and Alberta, LiDAR companies, forestry consultants and forest companies from across Alberta.
SRD would like to thank all the presenters who took the time to travel and participate. The success of the workshop was largely due to the quality of the information they shared with the participants during their presentations.
