Dining Facilities

All meals are served in the dining room, located in our Mountain View residence, with an unequaled view of the Rocky Mountains and Athabasca River Valley. A 186m2 (2000 sq. ft.) deck off the dining room offers the opportunity to enjoy outdoor dining (weather permitting).

Three meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) are served on weekdays and two meals (Brunch and Dinner) on weekends and holidays. When classes are held on weekends and holidays, regular weekday meals are served.

The HTC kitchen and its staff are fully equipped to handle banquets, BBQs and other special requests. Relax after supper and enjoy television or socialize with acquaintances in our rustic lounge adjacent to the dining room.

Food Services

The main dining room is located in the Mountain View residence. Mealtimes are as follows:  Weekdays Breakfast   7:00 a.m. Lunch       12:00 Supper       5:30 p.m. It is important to be on time for meals. Meals are served for 30 minutes or until everyone in the line-up has been served. Late arrivals will not be served.
Weekends If you have classes scheduled during weekends, meals will be offered at the regular weekday times.

 

HTC Meal Policy (Revision Feb/2007)	*Special requests must be arranged with the HTC course coordinator before the start of the course.
If course start is 8:15 am:	First scheduled meal is breakfast
If course start is 1:00 pm:	First scheduled meal is supper
If course finish is noon:	Last scheduled meal is breakfast
If course finish is 1:00 pm or later:	Last scheduled meal is lunch
