Opportunities at HTC

The Hinton Training Centre is an ideal venue for hosting a variety of forestry related training, retreats or special events.

Each year the Hinton Training Centre welcomes visitors from a number of government departments, municipalities, colleges, universities, youth groups, law enforcement agencies and private groups from around the world.

Facilities available for almost any size meeting or training group include:

• Classrooms,
• Meeting rooms,
• Offices(Each room is equiped with high-speed internet access),
• Fully integrated and networked computer lab,
• A rappel tower, and
• State-of-the-art wildfire simulator.

A full-service dining room is also located on site and can cater banquets, barbeques, and other special events for up to 250 guests.

Accomodation is available at either Mountain View or Valley View residences. Each residence has access to laundry, gym facilities and lounges. Lounges have TVs, fireplaces, and games like pool or shuffleboard.

The Cache Percotte Forest is commonly utilized by a number of groups for outdoor field activities. If you are looking for a rustic retreat, consider booking the rustic log cabins for your event.
