Final review of the Grizzly Bear Recovery Plan is complete

Sustainable Resource Development has completed the final review of the draft Grizzly Bear Recovery Plan. The department will be meeting with members of the Grizzly Bear Recovery Team to make all appropriate final changes. The fine-tuning edits on the recovery plan are expected to be completed before the end of this year.

Minister Ted Morton would like to commend the Grizzly Bear Recovery Team for all their hard work and patience in developing this comprehensive plan. This plan will provide advice and will inform and shape Alberta's grizzly bear conservation efforts.
